JBL Charge 2 Plus Review
JBL Charge 2 Plus Review
Physical Structure: I must say the quality of material is much improved with compare to 1st generation. The material of grill and frame is made of metal & plastic and it is very durable & strong. It’s a splash proof and rain resistance but you can’t submerge in water. Weight is 750g.
Buttons: The buttons are soft touch and it made of rubber and it covers with silicon light material. Buttons are clicking and more responsive. On the upper side, 6 buttons are there. The power button, Bluetooth Paring, Volume buttons, Connect/sharing button and speakerphone button.
The best feature is Connect/Sharing button, it allows you to connect another 3 devices to this Bluetooth speaker. But make sure It don’t have JBL Connect feature. There are 5 LEDs showing battery life. Speakerphone audio quality is good.
Additional Features: There are 2 45mm drivers behind metal grill & JBL Passive Bass Radiators on both side. It looks awesome when playing music. It provides better bass.
Ports: There are 3 different ports. 3.5mm audio jack, USB 2.0 for charging the speaker. And last is USB Type C also for charging port and you can charge your smartphone too. It’s awesome.

Battery Performance: It has 6000mA battery. It has very long battery life. The good thing is when your speaker is at 50% low battery then you can charge your smartphone about 100%. Holy Shitt! I think you don’t need power bank If you purchase this!
JBL says 12 hours of battery life on the box. But when I test at 50% volume I got 14 hours of battery life while playing continuous music. When you at full volume you will get around 8-9 hours of battery life while playing continuous music. I really like the battery performance.
Sound Quality: The sound quality is awesome and very loud, clear and distortion free with decent bass. But with compare to other wireless speakers in this budget, I feel the bass is slightly less deep in JBL Charge 2 Plus. Overall sound quality is awesome. You can use for personal entertainment like movies and games.
There is one good feature which makes it better from JBL Flip 3 is the sound is not distorted at a high pitch and high notes. It provides awesome & very clear music quality at maximum volume. So, this thing I most like about it.
So, in my opinion, I really like JBL Charge 2 Plus wireless Bluetooth speaker that is under 100$. Overall this is the best wireless speaker with compare to others in this budget.
The built quality is good and JBL improves the quality of the material. It is splash proof and rain resistance. Buttons are good and JBL provides 2 awesome features like Speakerphone and Connect/Share.
Audio drivers and passive bass radiator provide clear audio quality with decent bass. USB type C port you can use it for charging your smartphone. Long battery life and it provides 14 hours of continuous music play. Sound quality is good, loud, clear and distortion free.
The one thing I like most about it is sound doesn’t distort at high notes. That make it better from JBL Flip 3 wireless Bluetooth speaker. So, If you are looking for wireless speakers in this budget then definitely you shouldn’t ignore it.
That’s it for this review. I hope you like it.
