SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization which means if you want to get higher ranking in search results than you have to optimize your content. You can also call, it is the process of getting organic or free traffic from the search results on search engines. All major search engines such as Google, Bing, and Yahoo have primary search results, where web pages and other content such as articles, videos, tutorials, local business listings are shown and ranked based on what the search engine considers most relevant to users. Relevant Domain Name:

The 1st thing and most important thing is the domain name. After Google Penguin Update, Google is very strict about “Web Spam” & “Relevancy”. So, your domain name should be relevant to your content or search terms. Like if you are writing about WordPress than your domain should be like “” or “” Instead of these domains, if you select another domain name which is not relevant to your content than it will affect the search ranking.

Title Tag:

Once you select relevant domain name then you should know about some HTML tags which are very important to optimize your content. 1st is title tag which is used to give a title of the web page or content. So, you have to specify the title with title tag which is very important to get higher search ranking. Make sure, the title is also relevant to your content. Content the most important thing to any website or blog. So, the 1st thing is you have to write awesome and very unique content so that people can visit your website or blog more. If you write something unique than chances of getting more traffic is high. So, write unique content. You should also take care of target keywords and you should add target keywords into the content. Target keywords are the keywords which you target as per your content. But make sure you have to manage keyword density otherwise if you add so many keywords in one article than the search engine gets confused which is called Keywords Stuffing. If you are using WordPress then you have to download Yoast SEO plugin which gives you complete information about your content, keyword density, readability etc.

There are 2 types of links, Internal Links & External Links.

Internal Links:

While writing an article you should link your keywords which means if you are writing an article and you also wrote previous than you should add a keyword which is related to the previous article and link it with the previous one which is called internal Linking and it is very helpful as SEO perspective. You should add at least one internal link into your content.

External Links:

You can build external links by two methods, 1st is written unique content so that other people share this on social media or their website. 2nd is submitted your content to other websites and insert links to your website in it. External linking is also very helpful to get more traffic from other websites and get higher ranking in search results.

Sites that link to you which have a Google PageRank Rating of 6 or above will help tremendously in your link popularity and Google Ranking.

Submit to Search Engine/Directories:

To get more exposure of your website, you have to submit your website to top search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo etc. This is a one-time process. Once you submit your website then they will index your pages.
